About Fuog/InterBuild

At Fuog/InterBuild we are always looking for a few good people. There are plenty of growth opportunities in our company. We pride ourselves on doing good work and want good people to do this with us. Fuog/InterBuild has been in business since 1981 and is a Class A Licensed building contractor. We have completed over 1,500 projects and take a great deal of pride in doing quality work at a reasonable cost. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. We have crews that are highly skilled and well trained. Not only does Fuog/InterBuild construct our own line of custom wood barns, but also we offer metal buildings. This year we have been awarded a builder-ship with Butler Buildings, a long-standing and premier product in the metal building industry.

Our firm's President is John L. Fuog. Fuog has overseen post frame structures for well over 30 years. Kathy Panfil is our Office Manager and Roger Littlefield along with Jamie Hochmuth are our sales and project managers. Kathy, Roger and Jamie have over 50 years of combined construction experience.

Our crews consist of two foremen, Philip Carter and Wes Hilton. Each crew includes 2-4 team members. Philip, Wes and John have worked together for over 28 years.

Although not a large company, we have well over 130 man-years of experience in the building industry.

Dear Mr. Littlefield,

Thank you so much for building my beautiful new barn addition and blending it so well with the old barn, newly upgraded by Fuog/Interbuild. My goal was to build the barn by Spring, in time for the two broodmares to become comfortable with the foaling stalls, etc. before foaling time. You delivered the new barn, fully complete and state-of-the-art right on the dot – the first day of Spring.

Thanks also for beginning the barn so promptly and moving the process along through ever-changing weather. What had promised to be a stressful time, since my horses were on the property and still using the old barn, was actually fun. I always knew what was to happen on any given day so that I could plan moving the horses out of the way. The builders were all skilled and always cheerful. Hearing “O Solo Mio” sung well at 7am was something I never expected to hear. Also, you accommodated the several changes I decided to implement as the project progressed very comfortably. You also suggested several changes and improvements that we’ve used to make the stable work better. And it is a very nice place to work in. The horses are really enjoying the new facilities. All of my friends and neighbors have given the stable a big thumbs up!

I will miss all of the daily activity, but thanks so much for making the building of my new stable a very pleasant experience.

Dear Dawn,

Rae and I wish to express to you our sincere appreciation for the outstanding job you have done in coordinating all the myriad bits and pieces necessary for the satisfactory completion of our barn. You, more than anyone else, have been responsible for getting all of the materials, people, subcontractors and permits to the right place at the right time for a smooth operation. With the weather, changes we have made, and I am sure doing the same for the other jobs at the same time, it is nothing short of amazing that the job was completed with a very minimum of hiccups along the way.

The continuing attention to detail that you have exhibited has been exemplary. And you did it all without blowing a fuse once. You have an outstanding knack for dealing with people, not only during routine activities but more importantly during crisis or perceived crisis situations. Seeing you up on a ladder, hammer in hand, on a Saturday morning, getting personally involved in field operations, to better understand how the crews in the field operate, when you could have been doing something much more enjoyable, is a true demonstration of your innate desire to be able to understand and do your job in the best possible manner.

Dawn, in this day and age, it has been a rare pleasure for us to deal with someone we have come to respect as much as we do.

My Building is finished and it looks great. It was hard for me to visualize the final product, but as advertised it turned out great. Also the process was almost painless. There was just one minor bump in the road that was worked out to our mutual satisfaction in a matter of minutes. The time to complete was also right on schedule even with a few minor material delays.

I would like to take this opportunity to complement Phil and his crew that put the building up in the heat of July and August. They did one fine job. The sub-contractors also have done excellent and timely work. The finished grading of the property turned out very well. I also want to pay my highest complement to your office staff. In particular to Dawn and Sandra, they were always extremely pleasant, helpful and efficient. It was a pleasure to have to make a phone call to your office.

Your engineer's decision to enhance the architect's floor layout with a 24' clear span in the upstairs apartment provides a great open space to enhance our views. I want to take this chance to thank everyone at Fuog InterBuild: you, Mr. Fuog, all the construction guys for allowing me to realize a twenty-something year old dream. There were many years that I thought I would never have a horse of my own. Now I've had three for almost nine years. Thanks to everyone there, I also have a beautiful stable that I thought would never be possible!

My husband and children tease me sometimes due to the fact that after the posts had been set I went out and stood among what felt like the ribs of Moby himself, in awe of what would come to be known as my "equine cathedral". It might not be such a monumental thing for a company that's used to constructing buildings ten times the size of our stable, but for me it's everything I had hoped for so many years would eventually materialize if I just kept faith in my dream.

I very much believe that sometimes something is truly meant to be. Thank you for helping me achieve that. I know it would have been an impossibility without your involvement. Thank you also for your honesty and patience with a person that had never done anything like this before.
